THE COWORKER is about two women who work in a vitamin supplement company and one doesn't show up to work one morning which makes the other suspicious since she's meticulous about being ontime. The reader finds out there's been a crime and then it's the big dash to find out what happened, all the while we learn more about these women and the somewhat of the office goings on. The detective didn't seem believeable, the crime scene and reveal wasn't realistic and there were bits that were far fetched and the ending ... ridiculous. Don't insult your readers, Ms. McFadden. This could've had good potential but the bullying element was too much. Plus one coworker seems autistic and it felt like that was pushed as a negative from the getgo. Disappointing read.
