WOW! This will be the thriller of the Memorial Day weekend!
2 Senators. 2 Senators' wives. One wife shoots the other husband and then herself. The remaining Senator and other wife remarry each other. What follows is quite a reading ride and while I was crossing fingers at the end hoping I had figured it out, I was STILL surprised at the finale. Constantine weaves a well-crafted suspense read for thriller reads; it's set in the Washington DC area which is regional to me so that added to the bookish fun of this one.
SO good! Read it when it published in May 2023!!
