I so enjoyed this one!! It was worth all the hype and if you know my reading taste then you know that hyped books and me don't always (usually) get along.
This is the story of the Riva family; the reader is taken back and forth between the 60s and the 80s with the parents' past story and the young adult siblings' present stories. Jenkins Reid did a beautiful tapestry of family drama in this one and I was invested in this entire family even though there were def more lows than highs, it was an epic story of love, dysfunction, humor, sadness, betrayal, and family.
