Chocolate Chip Blondies, recipe

I made these yummies last weekend and they were delicious! It's a recipe that I had in my recipe binder for quite some time and while I know I've made them before, it's been ages since.

CHOCOLATE CHIP BLONDIES

Ingredients
1 cup (2 stitcks) unsalted butter, melted
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, spooned and leveled
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8-inch baking dish. Line with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on 2 sides; butter the parchment.

In medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined (do not overmix). Fold in chocolate chips.

Spread the batter in the prepared baking dish and bake until knife inserted comes out clean. (40-45 minutes). Let cool and then holding the paper overhang, lift out the blondies. Cut into squares.

Enjoy!
