Scottish Alexandria 1749

On Monday, I took Zack to see the annual President's Day Parade in Old Town Alexandria. I can't remember when I'd last been to a parade. It was a rainy, cold afternoon but that didn't dampen the crowd's excitement. I didn't realize how LOUD a parade is especially when you're right up close. Fun memories.





A few years back I deisgned a sampler inspired by my hometown of Alexandria. If you ever get a chance to visit, you'd love the historica area.
