I used to read short story books quite often. But then slowly (for some reason) moved away from them. Probably, like you, when I get involved in a story and characters, I want it to go on and on. I prefer, if I read short stores, to either have them resolve everything at the end or be the type of short story book that moves from character to character - as they go through life. Not sure if I'm making sense. I have, many times, read a book by an author and loved it, but hated everything else they write! I also love the books by Barbara Michaels, but dislike her books written as Elizabeth Peters. Which has always confounded me - as they are the same person! So why wouldn't I like both? But I don't...Linda in VA
I didn't know she was one and the same - probably so many authors like that out there!
